Celia joined Deutsche Bank's Global Social Finance Group in May 2011. She leads the structuring of impact investment funds and is responsible for MFIs and Social Enterprises investments in the Caucasus and Southeast Asia regions. Celia is also responsible for the management of the Global Commercial Microfinance Consortium II, a USD 100 million structured debt fund launched by Deutsche Bank in 2012, which have attracted capital from both domestic and international institutional investors. Previously, Celia was working as a structured credit trader in Tokyo, and prior to that, she was a quant modeler in asset-backed securities and credit derivatives at Credit Suisse in New York. She is a CFA charter holder. She holds a Masters degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
