Rocio Cavazos

Rocio Cavazos is Senior Consultant at Deutsche Bank’s Global Social Investment Funds group. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Ms. Cavazos was CEO of Banco Amigo, a commercial bank serving over 100,000 clients and focused on the working class and micro-entrepreneur market in Mexico. Previously, she was CFO of Pro Mujer, an international microfinance and women development organization serving 200,000 clients in Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru.

Before joining Pro Mujer, Ms. Cavazos worked at Women's World Banking, a global network of microfinance institutions, where she structured and delivered financial products, advisory and training to the members of the network and the microfinance sector globally. Previously, she worked for the Women's Venture Fund in New York as Loan, Training and Mentoring Program Coordinator. She was a Vice President at JP Morgan in the International Fixed Income Group and an Associate at The Chase Manhattan Bank in the Latin America Corporate Finance Group in New York. Ms. Cavazos has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
